Why is the blog post on LinuxToday called „How to disable SELinux on CentOS“ longer than „Don’t!“? Why is there no follow-up with an introduction to SELinux?

I am trying now to upgrade my RetroPie to Stretch. Apparently a clean install is recommended but I just don’t want to do that. Let’s see if it will work out…
