Woohoo, mail works again :) (Even though my domain is not fixed yet… :/ )

Next years April Fools-joke: moving editors around and linking things like vi, vim, nano, emacs et al to ed on selected servers

I don’t know how and why but DNS is utterly broken for my domains. And it even doesn’t matter which dns-servers are responsible. One domain is on Cloudflare and adding a new subdomain doesn’t do anything :(

My domain isn’t resolving and it seems to happen at the registrars level…very big meh…

Each time I have to deal with iptables be it through “iptables” or “firewall-cmd” I really wish I would have pf available…

I have to think about BSD/Linux-sysadmin-Interview questions. That is harder than I expected…and when I google around I have to say that I don’t like questions like “how does sudo work? What are its disadvantages”

I am thinking about inlcuding “pf or iptables?” though ;)

Ich hab jetzt ca ein Dutzend ???-Bücher gelesen. Wow,sind die Hörspiele verkürzt und hui sind die Sachen, die sie noch erleben mal auf nem ganz anderen Level (rausgeschwemmt werden aufs offene Meer, mit Glück auf einer Insel landen und dann ein Segelboot zusammen improvisiert zB)

I was told today that I passed the certification for the internal data protection officer :)

It is always the same: I have a problem in a program, search for a solution, give up and while I write the forum-post to ask people, I see my error and can fix it 🤦‍♂️
