Each time I have to deal with iptables be it through “iptables” or “firewall-cmd” I really wish I would have pf available…

I have to think about BSD/Linux-sysadmin-Interview questions. That is harder than I expected…and when I google around I have to say that I don’t like questions like “how does sudo work? What are its disadvantages”

I am thinking about inlcuding “pf or iptables?” though ;)

Ich hab jetzt ca ein Dutzend ???-Bücher gelesen. Wow,sind die Hörspiele verkürzt und hui sind die Sachen, die sie noch erleben mal auf nem ganz anderen Level (rausgeschwemmt werden aufs offene Meer, mit Glück auf einer Insel landen und dann ein Segelboot zusammen improvisiert zB)

I tried now the browser Brave on iOS. I can’t use sites with basic auth and there is no way to get bookmarks from other browsers into it apparently. I am not really sure why I should use it. Do the other content blockers on iOS block so much less than Brave?

What I don’t understand: “Why can’t people can quit Facebook”? There was a time when they joined it for some reason. Why aren’t they able to join another service now. Isn’t it mainly a chicken-and-egg-situation and the unwillingness trying to carry people over to another service?

While learning math I always ask myself: how did someone come up with this stuff? Especially when I look for example at algebraic structures like rings and bodies.
