Old Android devices are so broken… a device from 2012 doesn’t know root certs from end of 2010. And people connect those things to the internet…

In den Büchern von Marc-Uwe Kling und seinen Kollegen, schreibt mindestens einer ihäufig, dass Kling so bekannt wäre und dass die Leute nur wegen ihm kämen. Leider ja. Das Känguruh ist witzig und regt zum Denken an. Die Kollegen tun leider weder noch :/

I told myself I wanted to read more at the end of last year. 7 books in 12 days…good pace so far I guess But I probably slow down now. I kind of like the concept of sleep.

Seriously: read the Twenty Palaces-novels by Harry Connolly. Start with Child of Fire. I read now three books and one novella in 6 days. They are terrific Urban Fantasy-entertainment. Only one book left (the prequel). Meh. I hope he writes more soon.

What I still don’t understand about Meltdown and Spectre is, how targeted the attacks can be. Can I get only some random memory, can I dump everything, can I aim for example for a certain process (like the password manager of a user in a different vm) etc…
