Is there any electronics-company out there that doesn’t let their workers in China and other factory countries work like slaves? There should be something like a “Fair Trade”-label but for electronics.

Surprise: Amazon is even handling their factory workers really bad. One shouldn’t buy from Amazon but it is just so convenient and often so cheap…

I wonder how much a single sysadmin can break by not being careful in a large company like google or facebook. Or if there are so many failsaves that nobody will really notice when a command breaks a couple of machines.

The next macOS-update won’t be available for computers that were released before mid-2012. This means that iMacs and MacBooks which cost a four-digit-euro amount of money get obsoleted after 6 years. For phones that might be ok, but for eff-ing expensive computers?

I am like more than 10 years late to the game but I have now a Wii (even with GC-controller-ports) :D
