I wonder what the problem with GNU coreutils so called bloat is. Does it make them slower (any benchmarks)? Does it introduce far more bugs? What is the problem with it?
Is there any desktop environment on FreeBSD that is actually close to its current version? Gnome-Shell is on 3.18 (vs 3.26), Cinnamon is on 2.4 (3.6), KDE-Plasma is not even available on the official ports-tree yet…
