Today I got confused by incoming traffic that showed up on tcpdump and was dropped afterwards by iptables. Thus I saw the incoming traffic but not the replies from the application. Kind of feels like a shameful noob-mistake.

I just found out that there are pretty good magic tutorials in Japanese available on YouTube and not of all of them are subtitled. Suddenly a skill gets an unexpected use. But for magic I really should start to learn Spanish…

After seeing the prices of the new Macbook Pros (with AppleCare+) I decided that I will continue using Thinkpads and Linux. But from what I’ve read they finally fixed the keyboard and made using Macbooks a viable option again.
