Last training before the first 10k in the next 6 weeks tomorrow. I hope it paid off.

In the last two months I ran more than 360kms and all the tools (#Garmin, #Trait and #Runalyze) predict a race pace that is faster than 4:40/km. Staying at 4:50/km for 10km would already be pretty awesome. #running

FU #uthoff and FU #ms

In spite of the heat (27 degree C) I could run quite a good pace (5:22/km for 8.4km) and I don’t get any side effects. That was different a couple of months ago. The training really helps! #running

I got myself a #Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar to replace my Apple Watch because I tested one and it was so much better for running.

Now the sensor hub is crashing regularly which leads to different problems. Reading the forums it feels to be a problemm that is not that rare.

🎉 Yes! First time 5k in under 25 minutes and a PR in 10km with 51:34. So the 10k in under 50 minutes is close. And this was a progressive run. So it should be totally doable in a couple of weeks. Even though there will be a training break of 10 days. 🎉 #running

New record: I ran 183.31 km this month.

Also this month:

  • new PR in a half-marathon
  • new PR in 5km

And those were just training runs.

Next month it won’t be that much. Let’s see what the rest of the years brings.

While I wailed some days ago that I don’t see a sub-50 10km possible at the beginning off September todays fartleg combined with my half-marathon on the weekend inspired me. It is completely possible. New PR in 5km, close to sub 25 and a PR in HM on the weekend in training runs. #running

The sprint-interval training from yesterday feels worse in my legs today than the half-marathon-training-run felt one day later on the weekend #running
