I am really tempted right now to do a clean install on my laptop with Ubuntu 20.04 and zfs-on-root with a natively encrypted home partition. But actually everything is working pretty well at the moment. Why do I have so often the urge to change my setup for some change? #linux

I needed like 15 minutes to completely break a Ubuntu 20.04 with a zfs-native encrypted home (renamed it twice and after the systemd-service for decrypt on boot wouldn’t work anymore). And I cannot get zsys to recognize my new dataset. And new users don’t get their own datasets…

The characters of my kids reached now level 3. I do short sessions if 90-120 minutes and that works pretty well. But they are a bit more into roll-play than role-play and it is pretty combat focused so far. But it is fun for them and me :) #dnd #selfisolation

Mietbegrenzung in Berlin hat „tolle“ Folge: Vermieter schreiben hin: aktuell ist die Wohnung so billig, aber eigentlich wollen wir €€€ mehr. Und wenn das Gesetz doch gekippt wird durch Gerichte fordern wir das Geld komplett zurück. Das macht die Wohnungssuche viel komplizierter.

Schaut mal ob eure lokalen Buchhändler und kleine Läden vielleicht auch online verkaufen. Der Buchhafen Neukölln bringt die Bücher per Fahrrad rum, eine der Eigentümerinnen vom Zauberkönig hat mir meine Bestellung heute persönlich vorbeigebracht. Es muss nicht immer Amazon sein.
