How long does it take until I hate the TouchBar? Day 2 and I find it actually quite useful, especially in combination with BetterTouchTool. And I got muself more and more accustomed to ctrl+[ for vim. That also helps on the iPad with the Smart Keyboard #macos

Fixing up the configuration of Exit for 4.94 brought me several moments where I was happy that there was no gun in the apartment. More security is better but forcing breaking changes in an update like 4.93 to 4.94 that are hard to debug and fix brings up a lot of emotions.

I’m not sad that Parler will be gone, quite the contrary. But even “self-hosting” could be problematic. You need a data-center and someone who wants to peer with you if you go the complete “I do everything myself”-route. 1 level up with dedicated servers might not be possible now
Didn’t Parler say something like: we will be up and running in a week again?
