Das Problem, dass ich mit dem #DiDay persönlich habe, ist dass ich regelmäßig alle Familienmitglieder mit überzeugen muss. Das ist regelmäßig leider nicht so einfach. Da gewinnt dann doch gerne Komfort/Bekanntes gegenüber Neuem oder Alternativlösungen 😕

There are authors who publish solely on Amazon because they want to be part of Kindle Unlimited. And then they need to do stuff like a Patreon, so that they can give books to readers outside of the Amazon-verse 🤦♂️

And now I figured out that I can use my calibre-web-server with koreader and readest. Actually this means I have now a better state for my use case than when using Amazon. I can directly download to my e-reader from my self-hosted library and can sync progress with a self-hosted solution. #ebooks
