If you want to use rsync in doas with #openbsd (and here nopass) you have to use something like:
permit nopass myuser as root cmd rsync args -av /home/myuser/something /to/someplace/else/
The args-parameter was missing in my case
Any #openbsd-users here who can explain to me why doas still asks for a password when I do:
doas /home/myuser/bin/somescript.sh
The line in the doas.conf:
permit nopass myuser as root cmd /home/myuser/bin/somescript.sh
I hate Apple for pics like these with the headline “games we like to play”. Yes, I’d like to a play a game that looks like that and then there are games like an idle clicker, a ski safari-clone etc. Why can’t they use screenshots of the games they are promoting? 🤬
Today I built my first flask-app. That was remarkably easy. I still have to understand though how I cope best in #Python with output where I want to deal with items in lists of lists of lists and stuff like that.

Question about #python: is there a way with fabric where I connect over and over again to some servers without spamming my auth.log/sshd-log? Like reuse a connection or something to run the commands again and again but get the output by server?
Today is a “FreeBSD I really dislike you”-day. I hope I am just overlooking something but the problem I am having here (too long for Twitter) drives me nuts. And it works in a very similar environment on Linux >_<

Because you never fuck up your configs or your HW breaks. Or did you buy the model with 2 PSUs and have a bond to 2 switches and have at least 2 servers with 2 load balancers before them. What about your network and datacenter team?

I hate searching for weird computer errors that leave no traces except that stuff is broken. I am in the “let’s try a tcpdump on the loopback-interface whether I can see any errors”-phase. And nope…still nothing really (except a “yeah…it’s broken” in the communication)
