So this software is self-hostable but you need a gmail-account and need to change the code of the backend and the client because there is hard-coded stuff in several places… Yes, it is open source but don’t expect that you can easily use it as you want if you like updates…

Regarding my last point: you can self-host, you just have to modify the client source-code because the api-endpoint is hard coded and the backend-part is undocumented…

The dev says: “you have the source code, you just need a hosting a service and we’ll document the API soon”

Someone didn’t understand why someone wants to self-host something…
